The City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) under the City Government of Santa Rosa participated in the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fest 2026 held at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City, from August 3–5, 202. Anchored on the theme "Building an AI-Ready Future Together”. The three-day event gathered government agencies, industry leaders, researchers, educators, and innovators to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence across governance, education, research, business, and the creative industries.

The participation of the city’s delegates to the DOST AI Fest 2026 is beneficial to the City of Santa Rosa for garnering various approach in implementing its Smart City Roadmap projects, programs, and activities; particularly in its commitment to harnessing emerging technologies, data, and innovation to strengthen governance, improve public services, and build a more responsive and future-ready city. Learning from local and global experts, as well as exploring practical applications of AI provided valuable insights that can contribute to the development of smarter systems, evidence-based decision-making, and technology-driven solutions aligned with the City’s vision of becoming a smart, innovative, and people-centered city.

As concluded during the DOST AI Fest 2026, "Building an AI-Ready Future, Together" reminds us that the future of AI is founded on collaboration, responsible innovation, and a shared commitment in ensuring that technology empowers communities to further improve lives.

The City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), headed by Atty. EnP. Ermin V. Lucino (CPDC) with the Smart City Secretariat, together with the representatives from the City Information and Technology Office (CITO), presented the Santa Rosa Smart City Roadmap Update (2023–2026) to Vice Mayor Arnold B. Arcillas last June 23, 2026.

The Team during the discussion highlighted the successful implementation of key Smart City initiatives from 2022 to 2026, highlighting the significant accomplishments and milestone achievements. It also outlined the Santa Rosa City's future plans and strategic directions, emphasizing upcoming projects and initiatives based on the roadmap, strategically aimed at further advancing Santa Rosa's Vision of becoming a smarter, more sustainable, and citizen-centered city.

TINGNAN | Magbabalik na ang Libreng Community Shuttle

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, kasama ang mga kinatawan ng Toyota Motor Philippines at Toyota Mobility Solutions, ang relaunching ng Libreng Book and Ride Community Shuttle ngayong Abril 27, 2026.

Ang muling pagbabalik ng serbisyong ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Santa Rosa na magbigay ng mas ligtas, maayos, at makabagong transportasyon para sa ating mga mamamayan.

Muli itong magsisilbi sa iba't ibang bahagi ng lungsod at opisyal na magbubukas sa publiko ngayong linggo, upang higit pang mapadali ang pagbiyahe ng ating mga kababayan araw-araw.

Maghintay lamang sa mga susunod na anunsiyo para sa kumpletong detalye ng mga ruta, iskedyul, at iba pang mahalagang impormasyon.
