The Local Government Unit of Santa, sponsored by the PESO/HR Office officially kicked off the 126th Civil Service Month through a First Friday Mass. A moment to pause, reflect, give thanks, and renew our commitment to public service.
In his closing homily, Fr. German Somera reminded us of the deeper meaning of being a Lingkod Bayan: to love and serve without limit. Service is not merely a position or a responsibility, it is a vocation anchored in compassion, integrity, and genuine concern for others.
โค๏ธ Puso โ Check your heart. Do we still serve with sincerity and compassion?
๐ซก Dangal โ Integrity as a person serving the public. May our words, decisions, and actions remain worthy of the trust entrusted to us.
๐ช Galing Para sa Bayan โ May our knowledge, skills, and talents always be directed toward what is best for the people we serve.
As Fr. German reminded us, โThere is no greater love than to lay down your life for a friend.โ In public service, this calls us to give not only our time and abilities, but also our heartsโfor our community, our fellowmen, and the greater good.
May this 126th Civil Service Month renew in every Lingkod Bayan the courage to serve, the integrity to do what is right, and the heart to serve without limit.
