Anchored on the theme โNagkakaisang Pilipino: Handa sa Kalamidad, Ligtas sa Kinabukasan,โ we successfully conducted various activities aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness, resilience, and community participation, including:
โ
Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Campaigns in five (5) High Schools

โ
Fire Safety Orientation and Fire Drill
โ
Community Kitchen Session (Free Harog/Binignit)
โ

โ

These initiatives would not have been possible without the unwavering support and cooperation of our partner agencies, schools, volunteers, barangays, and every Socorronhon who actively participated throughout the celebration.
To our partnersโ the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Education (DepEd), Municipal Government Offices, CSOs, volunteers, and all stakeholdersโdaghang salamat for your commitment to building a safer and more disaster-resilient Socorro.
While the month-long celebration has come to an end, our mission continues. Disaster resilience is not a one-month campaignโit is a shared responsibility and a way of life. Let us continue working together to create a community that is always prepared, responsive, and resilient.
Kalamidad ay hindi maiiwasan, pero ang kahandaan ay ating pinakamalakas na depensa.
