Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) proudly celebrates a milestone that extends far beyond individual recognition. On 25 July 2026, during the Grand Honors 2026 International Awards Ceremony held at the M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, HCCCI President Mrs. Marivet S. Caballero was formally conferred the Most Visionary Iconic Professional of the Year Award 2026 by Star Iconic Media. The prestigious international gathering brought together distinguished award recipients, business leaders, professionals, innovators, and changemakers from various countries in an evening dedicated to recognizing exemplary leadership, fostering international networking, and celebrating excellence across diverse sectors.
Conferred upon individuals whose visionary leadership, professional excellence, and unwavering dedication have created meaningful and lasting contributions to their professions, institutions, and communities, the award serves as a significant affirmation of HCCCI's enduring mission. While the distinction bears the name of the institution's President, its significance belongs to the entire Holy Child family. It reflects the collective dedication of faculty members, administrators, employees, students, alumni, industry partners, local government units, international collaborators, and community stakeholders who continue to embrace a common vision: that education should not simply prepare individuals for careers, but empower them to become compassionate leaders, responsible citizens, and catalysts for positive change.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Caballero, HCCCI has strengthened its identity as an institution where academic excellence is inseparable from compassion, innovation, and service. Guided by the belief that education should create opportunities not only for personal success but also for community transformation, the College has consistently nurtured graduates who are globally competent while remaining deeply rooted in the values of integrity, inclusivity, servant leadership, and social responsibility.
For decades, HCCCI has remained steadfast in providing accessible, values-centered, and transformative education for diverse communities across Southern Mindanao. The institution has championed inclusive learning by expanding educational opportunities for Indigenous Peoples, underserved learners, and marginalized sectors while continuously strengthening scholarships, literacy initiatives, health and wellness programs, livelihood interventions, environmental stewardship, cultural preservation, and community extension efforts through its CommuNEKTA Initiatives. These endeavors embody HCCCI's conviction that the true measure of educational excellence is found not only in academic achievement but in lives transformed and communities empowered.
Complementing its strong community foundation is an equally purposeful internationalization agenda. HCCCI has cultivated meaningful partnerships with institutions across the globe through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), international academic collaborations, faculty and student mobility, collaborative research, institutional benchmarking, and active participation in international conferences and professional development programs. These initiatives reflect the institution's philosophy that internationalization is not merely about crossing borders or attaining global recognitionโit is about enriching learning, fostering intercultural understanding, advancing innovation, and ensuring that global opportunities create meaningful benefits for local communities.
This vision has positioned HCCCI within the global higher education landscape through its inclusion in internationally recognized rankings such as the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings and the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). More than institutional milestones, these recognitions affirm the College's growing contributions to quality education, innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. They underscore HCCCI's continuing pursuit of excellence while remaining faithful to its responsibility of serving the people and communities at the heart of its mission.
The recognition bestowed upon Mrs. Caballero therefore symbolizes more than visionary leadership. It reflects an institutional culture founded on collaboration, resilience, innovation, and servant leadershipโone where success is measured not by individual accomplishment alone but by the collective impact created through shared purpose. It celebrates an institution whose educators inspire, whose employees serve with dedication, whose students pursue excellence, and whose partners continue to believe in the transformative power of education.
HCCCI's continuing initiatives likewise advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through accessible, inclusive, and globally relevant learning; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by preparing graduates with the competencies, values, and leadership necessary for sustainable development; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by expanding educational opportunities for underserved and marginalized communities; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through meaningful collaboration with local, national, and international partners in advancing educational excellence and sustainable development.
As Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. continues to expand its global engagement while deepening its commitment to community development, this recognition serves not merely as a celebration of visionary leadership but as an affirmation of the institution's enduring mission. Every milestone renews HCCCI's commitment to transformative education, meaningful partnerships, innovation, and service, reaffirming that its greatest accomplishments are measured not only by awards received or rankings attained, but by the countless learners whose futures have been transformed, the communities whose lives have been uplifted, and the bridges of collaboration built across cultures and nations.
To our President, Mrs. Marivet S. Caballero, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition. Your vision continues to inspire the Holy Child community to think beyond boundaries, serve with purpose, and lead with compassion.
This honor belongs to the entire Holy Child familyโa community united by one vision, committed to excellence, and dedicated to transforming lives through education.
