RESCUELYMPICS 2026: SCHOOL EDITION SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

The Local Government Unit of Tagudin, under the leadership of Hon. Evangeline I. Verzosa, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Engr. Michael B. Padayao, LDRRM Officer, successfully concluded the RESCUELYMPICS 2026: Project SAVER (School Active Volunteer for Emergency Response) held on July 14, 2026.

The activity gathered eight (8) Integrated and Secondary Schools in the Municipality of Tagudin for a day of exciting rescue challenges, teamwork, and demonstrations of emergency response skills. Through various disaster preparedness and response competitions, the participants showcased their knowledge, discipline, leadership, and commitment to becoming capable and responsible youth responders.

The RESCUELYMPICS is one of the highlights of the Municipality's celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, aimed at empowering the youth with life-saving skills while promoting a culture of preparedness, resilience, and volunteerism in schools and communities.

The Awarding and Culminating Program of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, including the recognition of the winners of the RESCUELYMPICS 2026 will be held on August 3, 2026.

The LGU of Tagudin extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools, school heads, teachers, coaches, judges, partner agencies, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful event. Your dedication and support continue to strengthen our shared vision of building a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready community.

RESCUELYMPICS 2026 | SCHOOL EDITION

The countdown begins!

The Local Government Unit of Tagudin, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), proudly presents RESCUELYMPICS 2026 in celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026.

This exciting event will bring together eight integrated and secondary schools from the Municipality of Tagudin to showcase their knowledge, skills, teamwork, and preparedness in emergency response and disaster risk reduction. More than just a competition, RESCUELYMPICS aims to empower students to become resilient leaders and advocates of safety within their schools and communities.

Para sa: Habagat (Southwest Monsoon)

Ika-5:00 ng umaga | 13 Hulyo 2026

Patuloy na magdadala ang **Habagat** ng **katamtaman hanggang malakas na pag-ulan (50–100 mm)** sa mga sumusunod na lugar ngayong araw:

• Ilocos Sur
• La Union
• Pangasinan
• Zambales
• Bataan

**Posibleng Epekto:**

• Posible ang **pagbaha sa mga mabababang lugar**, urban areas, at mga lugar na malapit sa ilog at sapa.

• **May banta ng pagguho ng lupa (landslide)** sa mga bulubundukin at landslide-prone areas, lalo na sa mga lugar na nakaranas na ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan.

• Maaaring **mas mataas pa sa 50–100 mm** ang dami ng ulan sa mga kabundukan at matataas na lugar.

• Posibleng **lumala ang epekto ng pagbaha at landslide** dahil sa naipong ulan mula sa mga nagdaang araw.

• Maaaring magkaroon ng **pagtaas ng lebel ng tubig sa mga ilog at sapa**, na maaaring magdulot ng biglaang pagbaha sa mga mabababang komunidad.

**Paalala:**

Pinapayuhan ang publiko na magsagawa ng kinakailangang paghahanda upang maprotektahan ang buhay at ari-arian. Patuloy na subaybayan ang mga **Heavy Rainfall Warnings**, Thunderstorm Advisories, at iba pang opisyal na abiso ng PAGASA.

TROPICAL CYCLONE BULLETIN NO. 16 (FINAL)

TYPHOON INDAY (BAVI)

Ika-5:00 ng hapon | 11 Hulyo 2026

Patuloy na kumikilos pahilagang-kanluran ang Typhoon INDAY at papalapit na sa timog-silangang baybayin ng **Zhejiang, China**. Nasa labas na ito ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Lokasyon:

Huling namataan ang mata ng bagyo sa layong **695 km hilaga ng Itbayat, Batanes.**

Lakas:

• Hangin – **140 km/h** malapit sa sentro

• Pagbugso – hanggang **170 km/h**

Galaw:

Kumikilos pahilagang-kanluran sa bilis na **40 km/h.**

TROPICAL CYCLONE WIND SIGNALS

**Wala nang nakataas na Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal sa anumang bahagi ng bansa.**

Posibleng Epekto:

• Patuloy pa ring pinalalakas ng Typhoon INDAY ang **Habagat**, na magdadala ng malalakas hanggang napakalalakas na bugso ng hangin sa maraming bahagi ng bansa.

• Ngayon (11 Hulyo): Karamihan ng bansa.

• Bukas (12 Hulyo): Karamihan ng Luzon, karamihan ng Visayas, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, at Davao Oriental.

• Lunes (13 Hulyo): Karamihan ng Luzon, Western Visayas, at Negros Occidental.

• Patuloy ding inaasahan ang malalakas na pag-ulan sa ilang lugar dulot ng **Habagat**. Patuloy na subaybayan ang mga Weather Advisory ng PAGASA.

Kalagayan ng Dagat:

• May nakataas na **Gale Warning** sa hilagang baybayin ng Northern Luzon.

• Napakaalon hanggang napakataas ang alon sa Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Cagayan, at iba pang baybaying lugar sa Northern Luzon.

• Delikado ang paglalayag para sa lahat ng uri ng sasakyang pandagat sa mga apektadong lugar.

• Pinapayuhan ang mga mangingisda at maliliit na sasakyang pandagat na huwag munang pumalaot.

Pagtaya:

• Patuloy na kikilos ang INDAY pahilagang-kanluran sa East China Sea at inaasahang magla-landfall sa timog-silangang baybayin ng **Zhejiang, China** ngayong gabi o madaling araw ng **12 Hulyo**.

• Mananatili itong isang **Typhoon** habang nasa East China Sea bago unti-unting humina bilang **Severe Tropical Storm** habang nasa mainland China.

Paalala:

Bagama't nasa labas na ng PAR ang Typhoon INDAY, patuloy pa rin nitong pinalalakas ang **Habagat** na maaaring magdulot ng malalakas na pag-ulan, pagbaha, at pagguho ng lupa sa ilang bahagi ng bansa. Patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso ng DOST-PAGASA at ng inyong lokal na pamahalaan.

**Ito na ang huling bulletin ng PAGASA para sa Typhoon INDAY, maliban kung muling pumasok ito sa PAR.**
