In an interview with DZGB News, Bragais explained that under Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, national government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations are required to implement the four-day on-site work arrangement starting March 9.

Under the said setup, employees may work Monday to Thursday on-site, while on Friday they may work from home or another flexible work arrangement, depending on the agencyโ€™s internal rules. Meanwhile, local government units, constitutional bodies, and state universities and colleges are only encouraged to adopt the policy.

Bragais emphasized that government services must continue without interruption, and employees working outside the office are still required to submit accomplishment reports and perform their duties properly.

MY PRAYER THIS MONDAY ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

This Monday, I pray that the Holy Spirit will inspire and guide us to undertake actions and decisions that truly glorify and honor God. May His divine presence empower us to serve with love, humility, and faith, reflecting His goodness in all we do. Let us seek His wisdom in our daily tasks and trust that through His inspiration, our efforts will bear fruit for His kingdom.

LENT IS A SEASON WHEN GOD CALLS US HOME

Lent is a season when God gently calls us back to Himself. It is not merely a time of external sacrifice, but a sacred invitation to interior transformation. In Lent, โ€œcoming homeโ€ is described by the Church as metanoia, a complete turning around of the heart and mind. It is more than regret. It is a decision to change direction.

Metanoia happens when we finally realize that the things we have been chasing cannot truly satisfy us. Success, pleasure, recognition, control, comfort โ€” these can become the husks of the world, like the food the prodigal son longed to eat. They promise fulfillment but leave the soul empty. Lent gives us the grace to see clearly. It removes the illusions and exposes our deeper hunger.

To come home is to remember who we are. We are sons and daughters, not servants. We are loved, not merely tolerated. In Godโ€™s presence, we are fully known and fully loved. There, we do not need to pretend. There, our wounds are not rejected but healed. There, our restless hearts finally find rest.

Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, God reorients our desires. Prayer lifts our eyes back to the Father. Fasting detaches us from false satisfactions. Almsgiving stretches our hearts toward love. Each practice is a step on the road home.

Lent is not about punishment. It is about return. It is the season when God runs toward us the moment we turn back to Him. May this Lent be our metanoia โ€” our complete turning around โ€” and may we rediscover that the only place where we are truly alive is in the loving presence of God.

Today, we're celebrating Library Lovers Day! ๐Ÿ“–

Bookish folks will always be first in line to express their love for libraries. ๐Ÿ’Œ However, they are important resources for so many more than just book lovers: students, children, people experiencing poverty, people seeking community โ€” everyone! ๐ŸŒŽ

Libraries represent the best of humanity, and it's crucial to acknowledge everything they provide for us. Happy Library Lovers Day! ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’˜
