Catubig,RSW,MSSW and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council of Tupi, led by Mayor Engr. Romeo Tamayo, CESO, MDRRMC Chairperson,, successfully facilitated the release of Cash-for-Work (CFW) assistance to qualified beneficiaries from Barangays Tubeng, Kalkam, and Lunen.

This initiative was implemented in support of the Climate Care Project of ChildFund, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tupi. The program aims to strengthen community resilience to climate change while providing temporary employment and financial assistance to vulnerable households.

Through the Cash-for-Work program, beneficiaries actively participated in climate-responsive community activities, including environmental conservation, disaster risk reduction, and community rehabilitation efforts. The initiative not only provided immediate economic support to participating families but also promoted environmental stewardship and encouraged community participation in building a safer, greener, and more climate-resilient Municipality of Tupi.

The successful implementation of this activity reflects the strong collaboration between ChildFund and the LGU of Tupi in advancing sustainable development, protecting vulnerable communities, and promoting the welfare of children and families through climate-responsive interventions.
