UAE Social Media Laws - Privacy of People
متحدہ عرب امارات کے سائبر جرائم سے متعلق قانون UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes میں شہریوں کی ذاتی معلومات اور پرائیویسی کے تحفظ کو بہت اہمیت دی گئی ہے۔ اس قانون کے تحت ڈیجیٹل نظاموں کے ذریعے کسی بھی فرد کی ذاتی یا خفیہ معلومات کو بغیر اجازت حاصل کرنا، استعمال کرنا یا پھیلانا سخت جرم تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔ اس کا بنیادی مقصد یہ ہے کہ ڈیجیٹل ماحول میں افراد کی نجی زندگی، مالی معلومات اور حساس ڈیٹا محفوظ رہے۔

دفعہ 6 کے مطابق کسی بھی شخص کے ذاتی الیکٹرانک ڈیٹا کو بغیر اجازت حاصل کرنا، محفوظ کرنا، تبدیل کرنا، مٹانا، کاپی کرنا یا پھیلانا جرم ہے۔ اس میں طبی ریکارڈز، تشخیص، علاج، بینک اکاؤنٹس اور آن لائن ادائیگیوں کی معلومات جیسے حساس ڈیٹا کو خاص تحفظ حاصل ہے۔ اس دفعہ کی خلاف ورزی پر کم از کم چھ ماہ قید اور 20 ہزار سے 1 لاکھ درہم تک جرمانہ ہو سکتا ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص جان بوجھ کر ایسا غیر قانونی ڈیٹا وصول کرے یا استعمال کرے تو وہ بھی اسی قانونی ذمہ داری کے تحت آتا ہے۔

دفعہ 13 ذاتی ڈیٹا کے جمع کرنے اور اس کے استعمال سے متعلق ہے۔ اس کے مطابق کسی بھی شخص یا ادارے کو صرف قانونی اجازت کے بغیر شہریوں یا رہائشیوں کا ڈیٹا اکٹھا کرنے، محفوظ کرنے یا پروسیس کرنے کی اجازت نہیں۔ خلاف ورزی کی صورت میں 50 ہزار سے 5 لاکھ درہم تک جرمانہ اور قید کی سزا ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس دفعہ کا مقصد یہ یقینی بنانا ہے کہ ڈیٹا اکٹھا کرنے کے تمام عمل قانون اور ضابطوں کے مطابق ہوں۔

دفعہ 44 نجی زندگی کے تحفظ سے متعلق ہے۔ اس کے تحت کسی شخص کی اجازت کے بغیر اس کی ذاتی زندگی یا خاندانی معاملات میں مداخلت، خفیہ طور پر گفتگو ریکارڈ کرنا، یا آڈیو/ویڈیو مواد نشر کرنا جرم ہے۔ اسی طرح بغیر اجازت تصاویر لینا، انہیں محفوظ کرنا یا آن لائن پھیلانا بھی ممنوع ہے، چاہے وہ تصاویر سچ پر مبنی ہی کیوں نہ ہوں اگر ان سے کسی کی عزت یا پرائیویسی متاثر ہو۔ خاص طور پر حادثات، زخمی افراد یا فوت شدگان کی تصاویر بغیر اجازت پھیلانا بھی قابلِ سزا جرم ہے۔ ان خلاف ورزیوں پر کم از کم چھ ماہ قید اور 1.5 لاکھ سے 5 لاکھ درہم تک جرمانہ ہو سکتا ہے، جبکہ توہین یا بدنامی کی نیت سے ڈیجیٹل مواد میں تبدیلی کرنے پر سزا مزید سخت ہو جاتی ہے۔

دفعہ 45 پیشہ ورانہ معلومات کے تحفظ سے متعلق ہے۔ اس کے مطابق کسی ملازمت یا پیشہ ورانہ ذمہ داری کے دوران حاصل ہونے والی خفیہ معلومات کو بغیر اجازت ظاہر کرنا جرم ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص اپنے کام کے دوران حاصل کی گئی خفیہ معلومات کو ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے افشا کرے تو اسے کم از کم چھ ماہ قید اور 2 لاکھ سے 10 لاکھ درہم تک جرمانہ ہو سکتا ہے۔ اگر یہ معلومات کسی کو فائدہ پہنچانے یا ذاتی مفاد کے لیے استعمال کی جائیں تو سزا مزید سخت ہو سکتی ہے۔

مجموعی طور پر یہ دفعات اس بات کو واضح کرتی ہیں کہ متحدہ عرب امارات میں ڈیجیٹل پرائیویسی اور ذاتی ڈیٹا کا تحفظ انتہائی سخت قانونی فریم ورک کے تحت آتا ہے۔ اس قانون کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ آن لائن ماحول میں لوگوں کی نجی معلومات محفوظ رہیں، ان کا غلط استعمال نہ ہو، اور ڈیجیٹل نظاموں پر اعتماد برقرار رہے۔

“Scholarship Opportunity for Pakistani Students Resident in Oman”

The Embassy of Pakistan in Muscat is pleased to announce 7 scholarships for Pakistani students residing in Oman, offered by the Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman for the Academic Year 2026/2027 under the Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS).
Pakistani students who have been residing in the Sultanate of Oman for a continuous period of not less than one academic year and having a residence card, obtained a general education diploma (GED) or its equivalent from an Omani school or an international school in the Sultanate of Oman are encouraged to apply.

Digital applications and intelligent technology define our day-to-day lives, making the IT industry one of the most innovative sectors globally. Germany is heavily influenced by the spirit of innovation, placing its markets for IT, telecommunications, and consumer electronics in leading positions within Europe. Consequently, IT specialists are in high demand in Germany. In 2025, around 109,000 job positions in the IT sector remained vacant. Experienced or qualified IT specialists can expect attractive jobs in small and medium-sized enterprises, the manufacturing industry, or large international companies.
Specialists in several fields are particularly in demand across Germany. Software development roles require you to design and implement software using the appropriate programming language. Your work as a software developer will be user-oriented, and you may programme complete applications or individual building blocks. Application support occupations involve maintaining and providing support for software and hardware such as SAP or SharePoint. Working in application support makes you a central point of contact for the products of a company. IT security experts take on the responsibility for the protection of company data. Continuous further training to stay up to date and working on novel solutions for software systems are part of your field of responsibility in IT security. Data science roles require you to analyse large quantities of data and deduce the appropriate solutions. Citizens of Pakistan require a residence permit for this purpose.
