DC Larkana Takes Notice of Complaint Against Apple Hotel

Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Tariq Manzoor Chandio, took notice of a complaint circulating on social media regarding Apple Hotel.

On the directives of Assistant Commissioner Larkana, Raja Khan Qureshi, the Assistant Mukhtiarkar and Sindh Food Authority team visited the hotel and conducted an inspection. The hotel was fined for violations, and strict directions were issued to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

The district administration will continue to take strict action against violations to safeguard public health and ensure quality food standards across Larkana.

DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION FACILITATES PEACEFUL RESOLUTION OF PROTEST — LARKANA

Today, JEST and PST candidates staged a protest on the National Highway in Larkana regarding the issuance of appointment orders, resulting in disruption of traffic and inconvenience to commuters.

Taking notice of the situation, Assistant Commissioner Larkana, Raja Khan Qureshi, accompanied by the concerned DSP Saad Jabbar, visited the protest site and jointly engaged with the protesting candidates. The officials listened to their concerns and demands and held discussions with them to resolve the situation peacefully.

Following successful dialogue and coordination between the district administration, police, and the protesters, the National Highway was peacefully cleared and traffic was restored to a smooth and normal flow, providing relief to commuters.

The District Administration Larkana remains committed to maintaining public order, facilitating citizens, and addressing public concerns through peaceful dialogue and effective coordination.

چہلم کے انتظامات — لاڑکانہ

ڈپٹی کمشنر لاڑکانہ جناب طارق منظور چانڈیو کی ہدایات پر اسسٹنٹ کمشنر لاڑکانہ جناب راجہ خان قریشی نے چہلم حضرت امام حسینؑ کے موقع پر ضروری انتظامات اور سہولیات کی فراہمی کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے لاڑکانہ شہر کی مختلف امام بارگاہوں کا دورہ کیا۔

اس موقع پر ایس ڈی پی او حیدری احمد بخش ناریجو، سندھ سالڈ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ بورڈ (SSWMB)، لاڑکانہ میونسپل کارپوریشن (LMC)، متعلقہ ٹاؤن میونسپل کمیٹیوں (TMCs) اور ریسکیو 1122 کی ٹیمیں بھی ان کے ہمراہ تھیں۔

دورے کے دوران صفائی و ستھرائی، میونسپل سروسز، ہنگامی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے انتظامات، آمد و رفت کی سہولت اور دیگر ضروری سہولیات کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا، تاکہ عزاداران اور جلوسوں کے لیے تمام انتظامات مؤثر، مربوط اور احسن انداز میں یقینی بنائے جا سکیں۔

ایدھی کیمپ کو سابقہ مقام کے سامنے، پارک کے قریب منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ مزید برآں، ایدھی کی خدمات کو مزید مؤثر، آسان رسائی اور بہتر نقل و حرکت کے لیے ایک متبادل جگہ بھی زیرِ غور ہے تاکہ ادارہ عوام کو پہلے سے بہتر انداز میں خدمات فراہم کر سکے۔

A meeting was held with the Edhi Incharge, Larkana, during which their relocation concerns were addressed. No untoward incident has occurred. Misinformation was spread through various social media posts, which is false and baseless.

The camp has been relocated near the park, in front of the previous camp’s location. Another site is also under consideration to expand Edhi’s operations for easier access and mobility of the organization.

The government remains committed to providing better services to the public. The relocation has been carried out to safeguard human lives in the vicinity of the construction site. A 600-bed hospital is under construction, where heavy machinery is operating round the clock.

Larkana: Upon receiving reports that a person had drowned in the Rice Canal, Assistant Commissioner Larkana, Mr. Raja Khan Qureshi, immediately directed concerned officials to initiate rescue operations. Acting promptly on his instructions, SOPT personnel and revenue officials reached the site without delay and successfully retrieved the body from the canal. The deceased was shifted to the hospital, and after completing necessary formalities, the body was handed over to the bereaved family.

The district administration expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.
