Tehsil Gor Ghatri Wall | Project Highlights

Turning historic walls into vibrant public art.

The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with Mera Shehar Meri Zimmedari, successfully completed the Tehsil Gor Ghatri Wall Project, bringing together young people to transform a historic space through art, creativity and community participation.

From painting walls to planting hope, the initiative reflects the positive role of youth in revitalising public spaces and making Peshawar cleaner, greener and more vibrant.

Tehsil Gor Khatri Plantation Drive | Plant Today, Breathe Better Tomorrow

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, in collaboration with local partners and government authorities, conducted a plantation drive at the historic Tehsil Gor Khatri, Peshawar.

Young volunteers came together to plant saplings across the site, taking a practical step toward a greener and healthier environment for the city. The drive reflects the Directorate's continued commitment to environmental responsibility and civic engagement among the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Together, the initiative planted more than saplings — it planted hope for a greener, healthier future.

Yesterday, Qadims School of Leadership, in collaboration with Mera Shehar Meri Zimadari, planted trees at historic Tehsil Gor Gathri. Alongside the plantation, we gave students a brief tour of Tehsil Gor Gathri’s rich history and the British Gallery, followed by appreciation certificates for their valuable participation. 🌿🏛️
