They don't use machines, they use HEART.
Lacquer Art, Wood Carving, Hand Painting - all done by hand in Sillanwali.
Just 30km from Sargodha, a small town of 200,000 people is keeping a 300-year-old legacy alive. An art that started in 1710 in the Mughal Era, brought by artisans from Karnal after partition, and still lives on today.
Today Sillanwali has:
🔹 100+ big & small workshops [25 are large-scale units]
🔹 10,000+ artisans - locally called "Golden Hands"
🔹 25,000+ handmade items made from Sheesham wood f25c
From Jewellery Boxes, Table Lamps, Wall Clocks, Bed Posts to full Furniture sets - nothing is machine made. Every piece is hand-carved, hand-painted and lacquered.
These crafts are not just sold in Pakistan, they are exported worldwide to China, UAE, Malaysia, Europe & USA.
