We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and are happy to offer tax receipts. We accept food and cash donations anytime. We serve all upper valley residents in need of food assistance every week on Thursdays from 4-6:00pm. In case of a food emergency please call the Food Pantry phone number 307.887.3663. We are also open every Monday from 5-6pm for Food Rescue items. We also offer TEFAP ( The Emergency Food Assistance Program) to those who income qualify the first Tuesday of every month. 5:30-6:30pm. We love having youth, school groups, church groups, and businesses come serve at our Pantry. We strongly believe that when everyone gives what they can, our community grows stronger.

THANK YOU, WYOMING HUNTERS!

Hunting season is about more than filling your own freezer. It's also an opportunity to help fill someone else's plate!

Through Wyoming Hunger Initiative's Food from the Field program, generous hunters are turning their harvests into meals for Wyoming families facing food insecurity.

A HUGE thank you to the hunters who have already donated this season, especially our incredible youth hunters who are stepping up and giving back! Also a special thank you to our Lincoln County Processors- Salt River Meat Company and Star Valley Meat Block for participating in this program.

Every pound donated makes a difference, and we are grateful for the hunters, processors, and community partners who make this program possible.

Hunt with purpose. Share your harvest. Help fight hunger.

Our hearts—and our freezers—are incredibly full. 🩵💛

2026 Lincoln County Fair was the biggest year of animal donations EVER!

Behind every package was someone who chose to give, to care, and to help a neighbor. To all these donors—thank you. Your generosity will become hundreds of meals and a reminder to families that their community cares for them.

GARDENERS, DON'T LET YOUR EXTRA HARVEST GO TO WASTE! 🌽🥬

As gardening season wraps up, you might find yourself with more fresh produce than your family can eat. What a wonderful problem to have!

Through the Grow a Little Extra program, your extra garden goodies can help feed Wyoming families facing food insecurity!

Whether it's a few extra carrots, zucchini, potatoes, or other garden favorites, your harvest can make a difference on someone else's dinner table.

🌱 You grow it. You share it. We help feed our neighbors!

Contact your local University of Wyoming Extension office for produce drop-off locations or donate directly to the Afton Food Pantry.

The best kind of hunting story doesn’t end with a filled tag. It ends with a family fed!

Here’s something worth bragging about! Over HALF of the game meat donations received so far this year by our Lincoln County processors, Salt River Meat Company and Star Valley Meat Block, have come from YOUTH HUNTERS!

These young hunters aren’t just filling tags. They’re filling freezers and helping feed Wyoming families through Food from the Field!

That’s a trophy worth celebrating! Thank you to the next generation of hunters for giving back!

SO MANY HELPING HANDS. SO MANY GENEROUS HEARTS. SO MUCH GRATITUDE!

Over the past 3 months, the Afton Food Pantry has been BLESSED with some incredible groups who have shown up, rolled up their sleeves, and gotten to WORK!

A HUGE shoutout to:

💙 YSA (Young Single Adults)
🏈 SVHS Football Team
💃 Dezi's Dance
🎓 SVHS National Honor Society
📚 Senior Capstone Classes
🍀4H Groups
🌞 Erin Gardner's Star Shine Group
🎒Swift Creek High School Night Schoolers
❤️ The MANY Young Men's and Young Women's church groups who continue to show up and serve!

From sorting food and stocking shelves to unloading donations, organizing, cleaning, and everything in between, these groups have made a HUGE difference!

As an all-volunteer organization, we simply couldn't do what we do without people willing to give their time.

And one of our FAVORITE things? Watching young people learn the importance of serving others and giving back to their community! 🩵💛

To every group pictured, those we didn't manage to get a photo of, and everyone who has spent time serving alongside us—THANK YOU!

10 years of fighting hunger, and it's volunteers like YOU who make it all possible!

We have been loving the local product going out weekly at the Afton Food Pantry thanks to the Wyoming Forward Grant we were awarded by Wyoming Department of Family Services earlier this year.

Each week you’ll see Shumway Farms yogurt and milk, Squire Farms protein, Silver Stream Farm lettuce, and Salt River Ranch meats. These are Wyoming products going to Wyoming families. There is truly nothing better than that! 💛🩵

This grant ends next month but we are working to continue several of these relationships moving forward. We are so thankful to have been chosen for this opportunity and love what this has done for our patrons but also love supporting the local producers!
