Established in 1921, Summit Metro Parks celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2021. Join us for an immersive dance-theatre experience during the world premiere of Dominic Moore-Dunson’s Black by Nature, commissioned by DANCECleveland.

Rooted in Moore‑Dunson’s exploration of healing and belonging in nature as a Black man, Black by Nature reimagines the relationship between identity and the outdoor world. The work creates space for reflection, freedom and connection, guided by an original, jazz‑influenced score performed live by an acoustic ensemble of guitar, saxophone, trumpet, upright bass and hand percussion.
