It was an exciting day at Glover CLC as our newest students—including our Kindergarteners—discovered which house they will call home!

Each new student spun the wheel and was officially sorted into one of our four houses: Reveur, Isibindi, Amistad, or Altruismo.

Our returning students were seated proudly with their houses, eagerly waiting to welcome their newest teammates. The excitement, smiles, and house spirit were contagious as our Glover family grew a little bigger!

Welcome to your houses, Wildcats! We can’t wait to see you learn, grow, lead, and show your house pride throughout the year!

Warren, a Buchtel CLC student, was honored with the Kiwanis Rise and Shine Student Future Leader Award, along with a $1,000 scholarship. Warren is an outstanding student leader who serves as Class President, participates in track and field, wrestling, and band, and contributes as a student ambassador and member of multiple student voice committees.

It was an honor to celebrate Warren and share the incredible impact he is making at Buchtel and throughout the Akron community. Congratulations, Warren! We are so proud of you and excited for your bright future! 💙💛

Many of our students need basic items that help them feel safe and confident at school. Project RISE is collecting laundry detergent, hygiene items, lotion, and gift cards for groceries, fast food, gas, and general essentials. Your support goes directly to families.
