TURNING POINT PROUD!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Summit County Turning Point Program Alumni, Kenny Lambert, who has been named a Love Akron Change Maker Award recipient!

Kenny is a powerful example of what recovery can look like. He has taken his own experiences and turned them into purpose—giving back, investing in others, and making a meaningful difference throughout our community.

Watching our graduates continue to grow, lead, and become a source of hope for others is what Turning Point is all about.

Congratulations, Kenny! This recognition is so well deserved, and we are incredibly proud to call you one of our own! ❤️🏆

We’re kicking off the week by continuing to celebrate our incredible Love Akron Award recipients! 🏆❤️

Today, we’re proud to recognize Kenny Lambert, a community leader who has turned personal hardship into hope and used his journey to bring people across Akron together to invest in youth and families.

Kenny reminds us that everyday people have the power to become part of the change they want to see.

Join us on September 29 as we celebrate Kenny and all of this year’s honorees at the Love Akron Awards!

Turning Point was proud to attend ARC Recovery Services Annual Recovery Fest, and we loved seeing so many of our participants and alumni come out to celebrate recovery, connection, and community!

We were especially proud of our Summit County Turning Point Program Alumni Group Coordinator, Benny Rich, who took the stage as a guest speaker and shared his experience and message of hope. 🎤👏

There’s something pretty powerful about seeing participants, alumni, and community partners all in one place, proof that recovery is possible and no one has to do it alone!

Thank you, ARC, for another incredible Recovery Fest!

🎉 SIX YEARS SOBER! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating one of our own!

Turning Point graduate, Melissa Heischman is celebrating SIX YEARS of sobriety! Melissa is a shining example of what recovery can look like, not only because of how far she has come, but because of how much she gives back.

Melissa continues to be a huge asset to the recovery community and an incredible part of our Summit County Turning Point Program Alumni Group. She shows up, stays involved, supports others, and is always willing to lend a hand. Simply put, our alumni group would not be the same without her!

Melissa, we are so incredibly proud of you and grateful for everything you do. Congratulations on 6 YEARS! 🎉

🎉 Congratulations to our incredible Assistant Housing Director and Office Assistant, Melissa Heischman, on celebrating 6 years sober! 💜
We are so proud of you! This is such a great milestone. We love you!!!
