School Counselor Mr. Rehain was our last guest reader of the year in American Literature with Mrs. Belgiovine-Capone & Mrs. Menzella.  He read the first few pages of a book with students, talked about what he loves about the series, and shared excitement about the next book in the series coming out soon! Thank you Mr. Rehain for showing our students that there can be a love of reading outside of assigned classroom books!

The Leo Club had the valuable opportunity to hear powerful firsthand experiences from Mr. Barra and Mr. Wolfe, who directly serve individuals experiencing homelessness in Paterson. Together with advisors Ms. Simone and Mrs. Kender, they donated and assembled essential items into 100 care packages to help uplift and support those they serve.

The Montclair Theater Night Awards celebrate the achievements of high school theater across NJ. It is the only state-wide award ceremony for non-musical plays. The fall production of The Crucible earned an impressive 13 nominations. Last night was the award ceremony and the production took home the following awards:

- Outstanding achievement of a leading actor, Henry Roberts as John Proctor
- Outstanding acting ensemble, Mrs. Strang-Wolf and the Northern Highlands Theater Company

If you saw The Crucible, you’ll remember that the entire cast was on the stage the entire show, being a part of the storytelling throughout. Mrs. Strang-Wolf brought a group of the cast and crew to Salem where they found deeper connections not only to their characters, the setting, and the story they were telling, but to their fellow cast and crew as well. This production was a true ensemble effort that began over a year ago and we are thankful that the time, effort, and commitment was rewarded.

Please join us in congratulating Henry Roberts, Director Shaina Strang-Wolf, and the entire cast, crew and production team—which includes Rich Heissler, Joe Kiely, Shawna Lagan, and Jen Allen. Congratulations all!
