We had a lively session on May 28 with Sadie and Reilly from Community Bike Works. Our guest Bike Mechanics shared how they became Bike Mechanics and discussed CBW’s Earn a Bike Program, exciting our Rebels. They explained bike repair tools, followed by a matching game to test their knowledge. The kids learned quickly! Then, the Rebels used their new skills to strip down two bikes, removing seats, wheels, handlebars, and brake parts—taking them to the frames. Removing tires from rims was tough, but they handled it well. The Rebels paid attention to safety tips and worked as a team. On June 25, we’ll welcome Lehigh Valley Martial Arts. Kiai! RSVP for Rebel Girls on our website.
