Congrats to the SMS Science Olympiad team who has once again demonstrated excellence—earning 7th place at the 2026 National Science Olympiad Competition held at the University of Southern California.

This marks our fifth consecutive year finishing in the Top 10 nationally, a remarkable testament to the team’s dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of preparation. The team delivered an outstanding performance, earning 6 placement medals and achieving placements across all test events.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, teachers, mentors, parents, and coaches (both SO Alumni student coaches and adult coaches) for their unwavering support and commitment in making this another successful year.

From science and technology to art, engineering, and medicine, campers will tackle creative challenges, solve real-world problems, and explore future careers, all while having an awesome time with friends.
