We’re Hiring: Recreation Assistant – Water Safety / Swim Instructor

Help us keep our community safe and confident in the water.
What you’ll do:

🏊‍♀️Teach swim + safety skills to all ages
‼️Support lifeguards and enforce pool rules
👨‍🏫 Lead structured lessons and track student progress
💬 Communicate with parents about achievements
👷‍♂️Maintain equipment + safety and report issues
🗒️ Complete basic admin tasks like lesson records and incident reports

The MWR Summer Fitness Challenge is calling you to CONQUER THE CHESAPEAKE with our swim/row distance challenge!

Rack up as many miles as you can over 3 months — swimming, rowing, or both. Distances from both activities will be combined for your total score. Go solo in one category or dominate both for maximum mileage.
Prizes for everyone who conquers the Bay!

The Baby Boot Camp workshop gives expectant parents a practical understanding of an infant’s world along with essential early-parenting skills. The class covers common challenges such as balancing work and family life, safety considerations, and required health-care paperwork. Participants will also learn how to prepare financially for their growing family.

Attending this workshop also qualifies you to receive a Sea Bag from the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, which includes a gift card.

Guided conversations led by trained counselors via Microsoft Teams. Open to all eligible personnel; enrollment in Navy Wounded Warrior is not required to participate.
