Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever.
For many Young Republicans, September 11, 2001 is a childhood memory. For an entire generation coming of age today, it is history they know only through photographs, videos, and the stories of those who lived through it.
That makes education and remembrance more important, not less.
We have a responsibility to teach the next generation what happened that morning, to tell the stories of the 2,977 lives taken, to remember the extraordinary courage of our first responders, and to preserve the unity and resolve Americans showed in the days that followed.
September 11 must never become just another date in a history book.
We remember those we lost. We honor those who ran toward danger. And we will make sure future generations understand why America vowed: Never Forget. 🇺🇸
