Appleton City Public Library The Appleton City Public Library is located in a historic building in Appleton City’s Main Street Division. We strive to present a space for all people.

Every day we hope to provide an encouraging, welcoming environment. We endeavor to maintain a space where the community can access resources and thrive through education or entertainment. We are committed to helping empower young and old to unlock their full potential and find the support they need to do so. Our aim is to foster a diverse collection of resources that we hope will imbue the thirst

for knowledge in any who seek it by promoting education, captivating minds and creating skills needed to thrive in the ever-changing world. Diversity, acceptance, respect, and kindness are all things we consider of the utmost importance. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of age, gender, orientation, religion, race, or political affiliation.

Summer Reading is upon us and registration is OPEN! 📚 ☀️ 🗓️
Adults Summer Reading will begin on June 3rd, and the 4th-6th Grade Book Club will begin on June 8th.
We have fun activities planned for Adults and the 4th-6th book club will be reading “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” by Brian Selznick

Register via Facebook or in the library before the first event!
We hope to see you there and keep en eye out for the fun things we’ll be doing this summer! ⛱️ 📖 ☀️

Get your votes in BEFORE Monday, June 1. We have a lot of creative entries and fun prizes for those that get the most votes.
Voting can be done in the library this week: Tuesday 8:30-5:00, or Wednesday 10:00-7:00.
$1 = 1 vote OR $5 = 6 votes!
We will have also draw one ticket for an additional prize afterwards!
We also want to thank Rural Roots & 4th Street Fika for these prize donations!

We are happy to announce that we have had 43 submissions for our rubber ducky decorating contest! Let us know which ones is your favorite by voting here in the library before May 27th.

For Story Hour today, we listened to “Fox in Socks”
And made our own wacky socks! 🧦 🦊
In other news, we have had so many rubber duckies turned in for our competition! Come by and look in the windows and see all the talent and hard work put into these duckies! The deadline is today for entries! 🗓️ ‼️
And we have some pretty flowers out front of the library 💐
