GUESS WHO’S BACK?! 👋

Our full day time lifeguard Moreno is back at the pool, and we couldn’t be happier to have him back on deck - but we are also incredibly grateful for the lifeguards that filled in while he was gone, we couldnt do it without this whole team!

So next time you’re at the pool, stop by, give Moreno a big wave 👋, and welcome him back!

But here’s the part that makes us REALLY proud… while Moreno was on vacation, he had TWO life-saving rescues! 😳👏

Because the reality of being a lifeguard is that sometimes, you’re never really on vacation. The skills you learn, the training you complete, and the instincts you develop don’t just turn off when you leave the pool. Lifeguarding is a skill set for life.

(FYI FACT: There were over 10 rescues by lifeguards between the Sunnyside Pool and YMCA pool this summer - THANK YOU LIFEGUARDS! 👏)

Pool Staff - we are incredibly proud of you and grateful to have you on our team! ❤️ Your training, awareness, and willingness to step up when it matters most are exactly what being a lifeguard is all about. Our community and facilities are lucky to have your dedication!

🍎🎒✏️We will start our back to school hours starting this Monday, August 24th. Please note that we are still on summer hours for Saturday and Sunday evenings until after labor day. Also, please note that we will not be opening back up Friday afternoons.
