To answer some questions we've been getting about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library:
Yes, the program will continue! Dolly had an amazing business sense and she set up the program to continue well after her life was over--we just didn't know how soon she'd be gone.
Yes, any child living in Cass County who is under 5 years old is eligible to receive a book each month until their 5th birthday. The first and last books a child receives are the same; all the ones in between are developmentally appropriate based on your child's age.
Local affiliates (here that's Cass County Library Association) raise money to cover the actual cost of printing and mailing the book. We are accepting sponsors for 2027 or you can bring a donation of any size to a Cass County library. Monthly sponsor amount is $600.
