The mission of the Atlantic Food Pantry is to provide a regular community source of nutritious supplemental food for the People in Cass County, IA who are experiencing food insecurity and to increase awareness in the community of food insecurity.

During our food distribution on April 23, 2026, we provided support to 104 households consisting of 303 individuals.

During our food distribution on April 16, 2026, we provided support to 112 households consisting of 335 individuals.

The need continues to grow. Here are some past year averages for comparison:

2023 - weekly average 72 households, 199 individuals
2024 - weekly average 75 households, 226 individuals
2025 - weekly average 90 households, 271 individuals
so far in 2026 weekly average 107 households, 305 individuals

We could not provide these services without tremendous support from businesses, churches, civic organizations, and individuals within our community. Thanks to all who donate food and money to help feed families in need.

During our food distribution on April 9, 2026 we were able to provide support to 98 households consisting of 286 individuals.

During our food distribution on April 2, 2026 we were able to provide support to 102 households consisting of 269 individuals.

So far in 2026 we have received cash and food donations from approximately 50 businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals. Thank you all for your support. We couldn't do this without you.

During our weekly distribution on March 26, 2026, we provided food to 130 households consisting of 386 individuals.

For the first three months of 2026 we have held 12 weekly distributions and served a total of 1295 households consisting of 3,684 individuals.
