📣Calling all Youth interested in Livestock! Cass County Fair Superintendents are holding a workshop on June 6th from 9-11am on the Cass County Fairgrounds!

Youth will select two animal breakout sessions. We will also talk about 4-H and FFA record keeping. Breakout groups include Beef, Goat, Sheep, Swine, and Rabbits.

May 15 Animal Identification Deadline is approaching.
IF you plan to bring annimal to the county fair (or state fair), it likely needs to be identified in the exhibitor’s online account by May 15.
Animals that come to weigh-ins must ALSO be identified online BY THE EXHIBITOR by May 15.

Saturday, we hosted our Goat Weigh -in to officially begin the goat project area for many 4-H members this year! Come to the County Fair July 23-28th to see the hard work these members put into their fair exhibit!
🟢 4-H Goats: 79 head
🔵 FFA Goats: 23 head
All animals must be identified online on or before May 15th at 11:59pm. Call the office for help! More information about identification and fair processes on our website at: https://www.extension.iastate.edu/cass/county-fair
