The snow isn't stopping us today! The library is open until 5 PM, and we've got a stack of new books for you to borrow.

We hope today will be our last snow day for a while! The library will return to regular hours next week, with (hopefully) clear sidewalks and skies.

The good news is several new books have been delivered while the library has been closed; come grab some new titles next week!

Today is the day! The snowy weather just adds to the Polar Express ambience. As a reminder, a reading of The Polar Express will begin at 6 PM, followed by refreshments. Young and old alike, join us at the The Knoedler tonight!

Ready for another visit to the North Pole? The Polar Express will once again be passing through the City of Augusta this season. Please join us at the Knoedler Memorial Library on Tuesday, December 16th at 6 PM for a reading of Chris Van Allsburg's classic holiday tale, followed by cookies, hot cocoa, and crafts.

Just like last year, there's no age limit; we welcome riders young and old, and encourage everyone to don their favorite winter pajamas for this event (though regular clothing is just fine).

It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week!

As a reminder, the library will be closed Friday, November 28th.

Don't forget to pick up a really great read to settle in with after you've had your fill of turkey. We think these titles pair perfectly with a generous slice of pumpkin pie.
