On June 19, we commemorate Juneteenth, the day in 1865 when news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas which was more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of the ongoing journey toward freedom, justice, and equity for all. 💚🖤❤️

The Knoedler will resume regular hours next Tuesday, June 23rd. See you then!

We hope today will be our last snow day for a while! The library will return to regular hours next week, with (hopefully) clear sidewalks and skies.

The good news is several new books have been delivered while the library has been closed; come grab some new titles next week!

Today is the day! The snowy weather just adds to the Polar Express ambience. As a reminder, a reading of The Polar Express will begin at 6 PM, followed by refreshments. Young and old alike, join us at the The Knoedler tonight!
