Last week students from Bracken County High School and Augusta Independent Schools had the opportunity to experience a powerful mock crash scene focused on the dangers of drinking and driving.
This was a staged scenario, carefully created to give students a realistic look at the serious consequences that can come from making unsafe choices behind the wheel. While the scene was not real, the message behind it was very real—and very important.
We are incredibly thankful for the many community partners, first responders, school staff, and volunteers who worked together to bring this impactful experience to our students. It truly took a team effort to make this possible.
A special thank you to our parents and guardians for allowing your children to attend and be part of this meaningful learning opportunity.
This experience left a lasting impression, and we believe our students walked away with a deeper understanding of the importance of making safe, responsible decisions.
