Halloween Spooktacular at the Center! 👻🎃

So many wonderful costumes over the last two days, from witches and nurses to ghosts, goblins, superheroes and everything in between! We’ve had plenty of laughs, spooky fun, sweet treats and a whole lot of Halloween spirit! 🧙‍♀️🕸️

Our halls were filled with smiles, creativity and some pretty amazing costumes! We sure know how to have a SPOOKTACULAR time at the Center!

A big thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and helped make memories!

Mrs. Raether-Quirk and her students from Wildlands School hosted our Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Center today! 🎃 We had over 30 pumpkins entered in the competition!

We are so thankful for the wonderful job the students did judging the pumpkins and for the amazing awards they created and handed out. Their time, creativity, and enthusiasm made the day extra special! Thank you, Wildlands School!

Augusta Area Men's Shed – November Meeting

Join us on Wednesday, November 4, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at the Augusta Senior and Community Center for our next Augusta Area Men's Shed meeting!

RSVP is encouraged by Friday, October 30, at noon. Call the Augusta Senior and Community Center at 715-286-2953.

This month's topic is Life Saving Skills & Disaster Planning. Public Health Emergency Preparedness Specialist Joe Kalscheur, MPH, EMT, will lead a hands-on session focused on:

Learning lifesaving skills

Building emergency readiness

Staying connected during emergencies

Assembling your own emergency go-kit

The Augusta Area Men's Shed is a monthly social club where older men gather to participate in activities, build friendships, learn new skills, and foster camaraderie.

Coffee and snacks will be provided. Transportation is available by contacting Dave at 715-225-0975 to schedule a ride.

All men are welcome! We look forward to seeing you there!

The Augusta Senior & Community Center invites all local veterans to join us for our Veterans Day Luncheon on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

Join us as we honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. We are proud to recognize our veterans and celebrate the freedoms their service has helped protect.

Program begins at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch served at noon
Augusta Senior & Community Center

Reservations are required by Wednesday, November 4. Please stop by the Augusta Senior Center or call 715-286-2953 to reserve your spot. Veterans and their spouses eat free. Everyone else is welcome to join us for $5 per person.

A special thank you to Kite’s Cafe for catering this year’s Veterans Day Luncheon!

Tuesday evening, we welcomed over 50 participants to the Augusta Senior & Community Center for a Spanish-themed evening meal prepared by the ADRC of Eau Claire County Nutrition Program!

It was quite the culinary delight, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening together. ❤️

We are so thankful for the Nutrition Program and the opportunity to offer these special meals and experiences to our participants. A big thank you to the volunteers who helped that evening and made everything run smoothly.
