⭐ Free Summer Meals for Kids ⭐

Beginning June 1, Azle ISD will offer free meals for all children age 18 or younger throughout the summer. No registration or ID is required – just show up! (Participants must be on site to receive a meal.) Adults may purchase a meal for $4.00 cash.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Meals will be served at Azle High School and Walnut Creek Elementary from June 1-26. From July 6-30, meals will only be available at Azle High School. https://www.azleisd.net/article/2933998

⭐ Additional Meal Location Options ⭐
Starting June 1, families can use two tools to find nearby sites serving no-cost meals for children 18 and younger ─ VISIT SummerFood.org or CALL 2-1-1. In addition to locating a site, it’s important to frequently use these tools to confirm dates and times and gather more information about meal services.

🎉 We're wrapping up the 2025-26 school year celebrating employee years of service and retirements!

✨ Service pins were awarded to employees with longevity in the district in 5-year increments, and retirees were presented with a rocking chair and plaque detailing their years of service to Azle ISD and public education.

Congratulations, Hornets, and thank you for your dedication to Azle ISD! 💚

🎉 That’s a wrap on AzleCon 2026! 🎉

What an absolutely incredible day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration at our second annual AzleCon professional development conference! 335+ employees attended 111 total sessions, with over 80% being presented by district staff members!

A huge shoutout to:

📋 The organizers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event happen.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Know2Protect: Together We Can Stop Online Child Exploitation® campaign offers resources that educate and empower children and teens to recognize, prevent, and report online threats such as grooming, sextortion, and the misuse of generative artificial intelligence. Know2Protect also provides resources for families and educators, and recently released a new public service announcement on identifying fake online profiles.
