We work to match families with children. We know that every family is unique and can uniquely meet the needs of children matched to their home. We work with children of all ages, sizes and shapes. 🎃 Help Us Make This Year’s Trunk or Treat Something Special!

Victory Family Services is getting ready for our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat, and we’re inviting Bakersfield businesses and community partners to be part of it!

This event is about more than candy and costumes. It’s an opportunity to bring our community together and create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for local children and families. 💙

We have sponsorship opportunities for businesses of all sizes, starting at just $50 and ranging to $2,500+. Every contribution helps us bring this event to life while giving our sponsors an opportunity to be recognized for investing in their community.

At Victory Family Services, our mission is rooted in one simple belief: every child deserves Victory. 💙

📚💙 Back to School. Back to Possibilities.

For many children, going back to school means new supplies, new teachers, and seeing friends again.

For a child in foster care, it can also mean entering a new school, adjusting to a new home, trying to make new friends, catching up academically, or simply hoping no one notices how much has changed in their life.

That’s why the adults who surround them matter so much.

To the teachers, school staff, Resource Parents, caregivers, social workers, mentors, and community members who create safe spaces, provide stability, offer encouragement, and remind our children that they belong — thank you. 💙

A caring adult can help turn a time of uncertainty into a season of possibility.

At Victory Family Services, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and ready to grow.

This transformation is about so much more than new furniture, flooring, and paint. It’s about creating a warm, welcoming space where children and their families can connect, make memories, and focus on what matters most—their time together.

28 YOUNG ADULTS. ONE STEP CLOSER TO FINANCIAL CONFIDENCE. 💰👏
Yesterday, 28 young adults joined us for our Financial Literacy Workshop, learning practical skills around budgeting, managing money, and preparing for greater independence.

A huge thank you to Stella and Sol with World System Builder for taking the time to share their knowledge with our young adults and make financial literacy approachable and practical. ❤️

We also want to thank Frank with Code 4 Charity and King Leo’s Pizza for providing pizza and the additional support that helped make the workshop possible! 🍕🙌

A special thank you to Evelyn and her team for sharing the opportunity with the National Guard.

This is exactly what community partnership can look like—people coming together, sharing their time, knowledge, and resources to invest in young adults and their futures.

Victory Family Services is looking for vendors, nonprofits, businesses, clubs, churches, and community members to join us for our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24th!

This is a wonderful opportunity to:

👻 Decorate a festive trunk and hand out candy or small giveaways
🤝 Support children and families in our community
💛 Help create unforgettable memories for local children
