Bangor Parks and Recreation invites runners of all ages and abilities to close out the summer by participating in the 63rd annual Labor Day 5 Mile Road Race starting in Downtown Bangor. 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏽♂️
The race will be held Monday, Sept. 7, beginning at 9 a.m., with runners starting on Dutton Street next to Geaghan’s Pub.
The race began in 1963 and is recognized as the longest consecutively held road race in Maine. Whether you're a seasoned runner preparing for your next race, or simply looking for a great way to challenge yourself, the Labor Day 5 Mile Road Race is an ideal way to put your summer training to the test.
