⚾️❤️ Once a Golden Bear, Always a Golden Bear 💛🐻
The reality of any sport is that, in the end, only one team gets to walk away as champions. That's the nature of competition.
Last night, our Golden Bears baseball season came to an end with a loss to a very talented St. Croix Falls team. While the result wasn't what we had hoped for, it does not define this group. Throughout the season, our Golden Bears battled through every challenge, every high, and every low. They competed with heart, toughness, and pride every time they stepped on the field.
Did we fall short of our ultimate goal? Yes. But we can never take away the effort, commitment, and dedication these young men gave to our program.
A special thank you goes out to our seniors: Bryce, Glendon, Zac, Lucas, and Owen. Thank you for your four years of dedication, leadership, and hard work. You helped transform this program into one that competes night in and night out and earned the respect of opponents throughout the region.
Thank you for the memories—from last year's unforgettable State Tournament run to another successful season this spring. Your impact on this program extends far beyond wins and losses. You have helped establish a culture that will continue to benefit future Golden Bears for years to come.
You will be greatly missed, and we wish each of you nothing but success in whatever path you choose next. Our baseball program is stronger because of your contributions, and for that, we are forever grateful.
