Norris Public Power District was proud to host our inaugural Utility Line Camp for 11 local high school students!

Students gained hands-on experience with lineworker activities, learned electrical safety practices, explored industry tools, and connected with the crews who help keep our communities powered every day.

Today, Kevin Wagner retires after 42 years of dedicated service to Norris Public Power District.

For more than four decades, Kevin has been a valued part of the Norris family, contributing his hard work, knowledge, and commitment to serving our customers and communities. While we’ll certainly miss seeing him around Norris, we know retirement means more time for the things he enjoys most — family, fishing, and riding his Harley.

Thank you, Kevin, for 42 years of service, friendship, and dedication. We wish you nothing but the best in retirement!

Recent storms have caused damage to electric equipment in some areas. This graphic highlights several common scenarios to identify which equipment belongs to Norris and which belongs to the customer.

If storm damage involves customer-owned equipment, such as a meter socket, mast, weatherhead, or service line, repairs must be completed by an electrician before power can be safely restored.

Remember to stay safe around damaged electrical equipment and always assume downed lines and electrical equipment are energized.
