𝗢𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲 – 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳

Join us starting on May 26 to view an exhibition featuring the paintings of local artist Rick Osann.

𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁’𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝟱:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆.

Rick Osann has been painting in watercolor since the early 1970’s. After various careers as a professional Scenic Artist working in stage, film & TV in New York City, and as an art/theatre/film teacher at Bonny Eagle High School in Southern Maine, Rick is now happily focusing on his painting in Bar Harbor.

Drawing on his background as a theatrical set and lighting designer, Rick is most interested in exploring light, shadow, and color in dramatic moments in nature through his painting. His work celebrates the beauty of the Maine landscape and encourages us to think about protecting our environment and the precious bounty that surrounds us.

Thank you to all the friends and families who came to the library on May 1 to celebrate our community, the Tremont Consolidated School's fantastic Art Program, and its amazing artists. ❤

If you didn't make the opening, don't worry, the show will be on display in the library until May 15.

HAPPY MAY🌞DAY!

Come to the library today, Friday, May 1, from 4:30 to 6 PM to see the beautiful student artwork of the Tremont Consolidated School and enjoy free ice cream from the Darling's Ice Cream for a Cause. A great way to celebrate ART, FRIENDSHIP, & SPRING at your own community library.

FREE Popcorn & Refreshments will also be available!

All proceeds and donations will go directly to Tremont PTO! We look forward to seeing you on this lovely May day!
