๐Ÿšง Tomorrow, June 1, is the first official day of Summer Reading programs for Citrus Libraries! Miss Yvonne is kicking off the Coastal Region branch's programs with Diggers & Dozers - a deep dive into the world of construction and the big toys that make things happen!

Citrus County - you all SHOWED UP for our Summer Reading Kickoff today!

Events like today's happen because of the amazing library staff and volunteers! Today they welcomed hundreds of families through the doors and brought imagination to life. Thank you is never enough on days like today, but the smiles and excitement make it all worth it!

And - a special thank you to our community partners for coming out today! Anytime we can have friends from the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Citrus County Fire Rescue and the Mertailorโ€™s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter it's always a blast!!

For more than 5 years Citrus Libraries has partnered with Citrus County Blessings to serve students and their families in our community. Last week marked the end of our weekly food deliveries for this school year, and now we excitedly await the annual summer Feed the Kids program!

Over the years, our Lakes Region, Coastal Region, Homosassa and Central Ridge branches have served as school year distribution locations, or summer Feed the Kids sites. A special thank you to the library staff and Blessings volunteers who come together each week to ensure that this partnership is a success!
