Our members have received many calls & emails from Montana citizens who are furious about their property taxes going up significantly. (samples attached) Those who crafted and passed this law (Nasty Nine, Dirty Dozen & Governor Gianforte) purposely made sure the notices to property owners would go out after the Republican Primary elections.

The Montana Freedom Caucus sounded the alarm during the 2025 session and continued to warn everyone prior to the Republican Primary Election.

We are as mad & furious as you are. Please contact those responsible for creating and passing the new property tax laws:

They are going to cry, get angry, and try to explain that it will get better; it needs 2-3 cycles to flush it all out. They do not understand or care how you, the Montana citizens, are trying to make ends meet today.
