Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are so are grateful for the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. This Memorial Day, we encourage our Wolves and families to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes. Wishing all of our Wolf families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

There is no school on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. Please note: No school also means there will be no childcare or preschool.

Because of a school closure due to inclement weather in December, school will now be in session on Tuesday, May 26.

📚🏈 The Seahawks Summer Reading Challenge is NOW OPEN! In partnership with PEMCO Insurance, the Seattle Seahawks are helping students build strong reading habits all summer long. Students can track reading minutes over 12 weeks for chances to win awesome prizes and experiences — the more you read, the more chances to win! 🐺 One of our amazing Wolves won last time… Will MMS have back-to-back champions? 💙💚

We’re excited to kick off the 2026 12 Pages Summer Reading Challenge, in partnership with the Seattle Seahawks — fresh off their championship season — and fueled by our shared commitment to youth, education and literacy.

Now in our third year partnering together, we’re proud to continue building momentum behind a program that inspires young readers across Washington to stay curious, keep learning, and log their reading time all summer long.

⚾️ FREE Community Event for Student Athletes & Families! 🐺

Join us for a special evening featuring one of our amazing MMS dads, Nick Hagadone, as he shares insight and encouragement for student athletes, parents, and coaches.

This FREE event is focused on helping families better understand how to support students throughout their athletic journeys in positive and meaningful ways. Whether you’re a current athlete, future athlete, parent, or coach, this will be a valuable opportunity to learn and grow together.

🎒 Admission is free — attendees are simply encouraged to bring donations of school supplies to help support students in our community.

We love opportunities that bring our Wolf community together while supporting and inspiring kids both on and off the field! 💙🐺

Our library officially checked out its 10,000th book of the school year today! 📚🐺
The lucky Wolf who checked out book #10,000 received a fun prize pack filled with Nerds, Smarties, bookmarks, pencils, and a notepad. We are so proud of all of our Wolves for making reading such a big part of this school year. Every page turned helps build imagination, knowledge, and a love for learning. Keep reading, Wolves! 📖

Friday lunch shenanigans at MMS! 🕺🐺
Today during lunches, Mr. McDaniel hosted a Michael Jackson dance competition, and our Wolves did not disappoint! Students showed off their best dance moves, brought the energy, and had the crowd cheering. The winning dancers got a free bag of popcorn !🍿
We love seeing our talented Wolves having fun, building community, and making memories together during lunch.

We had a great time at the first of our two New Wolf Nights—one of our favorite events of the year! It was so exciting meeting next year’s Wolves and helping them get excited for middle school. We can’t wait to welcome this amazing new pack to MMS! It was so fun, we’re going to do it again tomorrow!🐺
