📚 Happy National Paperback Book Day! 📖✨

Before paperbacks became widely popular, books were often published with durable hardcover bindings that made them beautiful but also heavier and more expensive.

Over time, publishers developed lighter, more affordable paperback formats, making books easier to carry and more accessible. In 1935, Penguin Books helped start a paperback revolution by publishing affordable editions of important works by well-known authors, changing the way people viewed and enjoyed books.

So today, celebrate by picking up your favorite paperback. 💙📖
