There’s something we hear all the time when we talk about foster care and adoption: “I could never do that.”
And we get it.
It can feel overwhelming from the outside. But here’s the thing we wish more people understood: the people impacted by foster care and adoption...they're are all around us.
They’re our friends, our neighbors, our coworkers, the kids our children go to school with.
They’re families figuring things out, navigating hard days, celebrating milestones, and doing their best, just like everyone else.
And honestly? We’re just like you, too.
We’re parents, friends, neighbors, and people who saw a need and decided we couldn’t look away. We know we can’t do everything, but we believe we can do something. And we know that when people come together, that something can change a life.
That’s what Miriam’s Heart is about. Not one family doing it all, but a whole lot of people showing up in different ways to make sure children and families have support when they need it most.
To everyone standing in our corner, thank you for believing in this mission and helping us keep it going. Your support means we can reach more families today and build something meaningful for the next generation.
