Today, our MGM community had the opportunity to attend a beautiful celebration honoring the life, legacy, and artistic contributions of Ntozake Shange. 💜📚🎭

From the historic street co-naming of Ntozake Shange Way to the celebration of her powerful body of work, the event highlighted the importance of honoring Black voices, creativity, culture, and storytelling.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our community to connect with history and celebrate the legacy of those who have paved the way. ❤️🖤💛

We’re opening our doors to anyone who would like to pick up free reading books or workbooks. Feel free to stop by the school and help keep the joy of reading going all summer! 📖✨ 9:00am to 2:30pm

As the school year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our amazing students and families! ❤️

Yesterday, we handed out snacks at dismissal as a small token of our gratitude for your hard work, support, partnership, and dedication throughout the year. Together, we have made this school year a success, and we are so proud of all that has been accomplished.
