Going Up! 🏗️🚒
With the help of a crane, Brownsburg Fire Territory added another level to our training facility yesterday morning!
As townhomes and other buildings continue to get taller throughout Brownsburg, we have to adapt our training to keep up with our growing community. Adding another level to our training facility allows our firefighters to train for real-world situations they may encounter while responding to emergencies.
Our training facility is an important part of what we do here at BFT. Not only does it allow our firefighters to train and sharpen their skills, but it also serves as a valuable resource for surrounding fire departments that regularly use our facility. Having a place where firefighters from multiple departments can train helps build relationships, improve teamwork, and better prepare all of us for the emergencies we may respond to together.
A big thank you to our rope rescue technicians on Ladder 131 and Operations Chief Jerry Harder for their hard work and coordination throughout this project. Their efforts helped ensure everything was completed safely and properly.
As our community continues to grow, so does our commitment to being prepared!
