DCR1 is hiring Bus Drivers.

Description:
Full-time Bus driver position open, $21.35 an hour starting. Partial paid insurance. Paid personal days. Paid training.
Work 155 days a year, 4 hours daily (2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the PM), and receive a paycheck all year long.
Great for retired people who want some extra spending money, or moms who want to make some money and be available for their children.

Each applicant MUST be able to complete the following:
Must pass a background check
Must pass a physical examination.
Must pass a driver record check
Must pass written CDL test
Must obtain CDL Permit
Must pass CDL/School Bus skills test
Must pass drug test

Apply Online or at the transportation office in our Central Office. Enter through the south door facing O'Bannon bank.

Last Friday, Buffalo High School Student Council hosted the Bison Fall Fest.

Students and teachers were invited to participate in a variety of field games, food trucks, a dunk tank, and more!

DCR1. This afternoon around 4:00 pm, the Bird Bus (Bus 2) was involved in a minor collision. As a precaution, Buffalo PD and EMS are at the scene checking students before a new bus is dispatched to deliver students home. We apologize for the delay, and we will let the guardians of the students on the bus know when the new bus is en route.

Update: ​The Buffalo PD and EMS have given the all clear, and all students aboard the Bird Bus are safe. The bus had minor damage to its bumper, and was able to proceed on the route to drop off students.

The Buffalo High School Football home opener was one for the books! 🏈

From honoring our alumni to an exciting and dominant victory, it was a night full of Bison Pride from start to finish.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night so special! We’re proud to see our community come together to support our Bison!

This morning, several Buffalo High School football players welcomed students at Buffalo Prairie Middle School and D. A. Mallory Elementary School to school, and invited them to the first game of the season!

Come cheer on the Bison tonight as they face off against Diamond. There is an alumni recognition on the field at 6:30, and the game will kick off at 7:00 pm.

Reminder - Missouri's new school bus safety law takes effect on August 28, 2026, significantly increasing fines, license points, and criminal penalties for drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses.

Please use caution and follow the following guidelines when a school bus comes to a stop.

Last night was the very first session of the inaugural DCR1 Masters Cohort through a partnership with Evangel University.

We are proud of these dedicated educators for pursuing continued learning and professional growth, and we look forward to supporting them as they grow and learn throughout this journey.
