Not like the typical calendar this week, but I will be closed on Tuesday as we celebrate Aubree’s life and her 5th year in heaven. (I can’t believe I am even saying that) These anniversaries never get easier and I appreciate some grace while I navigate through that.

And as always, thank you to everyone who has tipped generously at the trailer at any event. 100% of these tips go directly to the Dekalb County Domestic Violence Task Force in Aubree’s honor.

Today, the Butler Police Department remembers the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer. It is a time to pause and reflect on the sacrifice made by those who never made it home. Their courage secured the freedoms we live each day, and their legacy lives on through the families, communities, and fellow Americans they protected.

May we never forget the true cost of freedom.
