🎄🚔🚒 Shop with a Cop is growing! Introducing Boots & Badges!

This Christmas, we’re excited to announce that the Butler Police Department and Butler Fire Department are teaming up for the first time to bring you the Boots & Badges Christmas Program!

Over the years, our Shop with a Cop program has allowed us to help Butler families in many ways, from putting Christmas gifts under the tree to helping pay a water bill when a family needed it most. Our goal has always been to help our neighbors and make a difference where we can.

With the Fire Department joining us this year, we’re excited to continue that tradition together!

🎁 Family applications will be opening soon! More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

❤️ We are now accepting donations and sponsorships from businesses, organizations, and individuals who would like to contribute!

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our community donors. Your support is what makes this program possible year after year, and we cannot thank you enough!

If you or your business would like to donate, please reach out to either department.

Same mission, new partnership, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit! 🎄❤️

Throughout October, the Butler Police Department is proud to show our support for those impacted by breast cancer. 🩷

You may notice a little extra pink around the department this month. Our officers will be wearing pink ribbon pins on their uniforms throughout October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our mural will also be lit pink for the remainder of the month as another visible show of support.

In just the last few weeks, Butler Police officers have been involved in two situations that ended with individuals being safely located and connected with the help they needed.

We are proud of our officers and thankful that both of these situations ended with individuals safely receiving help.

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

25 years ago, our nation was forever changed.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the families who never got to say goodbye, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to carry the effects of that day.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the days that followed.

You may notice something new on our patrol cars this month. 💜

In recognition of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, we’ve added su***de awareness ribbons to our patrol vehicles.

It’s a small addition, but an important reminder as our officers travel throughout the community each day: you matter, and help is available.

If you see one of our cruisers around town, we hope the ribbon reminds you to check in on the people around you. Sometimes a simple “How are you doing?” can mean more than you realize.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Help is available 24/7.

Better days are ahead. 💙

During Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, we want to remind you that a difficult season does not mean a difficult life.

When you’re in the middle of something painful, it can be hard to see beyond today. But today is not forever. Things can change. Circumstances can change. Help can make a difference.

Stay. Give tomorrow a chance.

And if you know someone who has been having a hard time lately, check on them. Send the text. Make the call. Sit with them. Sometimes simply knowing someone cares can mean more than we realize.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Support is available 24/7.
