🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Cardinal Cross Country competed today at the Bearden Cross Country Meet!

🥇 Freshman D’Curtis Wilson won the Junior High Boys’ 2 Mile, finishing in 1st place!

Every Senior High runner set a personal record and ran a great race! 💪

Cardinal Athletics is teaming up with Hudl to give fans a convenient new online ticket option!

Tickets are $6 plus applicable online service and card-processing fees. Cash will continue to be accepted at the gate.

📱 Digital tickets, athletic passes and card purchases: Enter through the Season Pass Gate beside the main ticket gate. Please have your digital ticket or pass open before reaching the gate.

💵 Cash admission: Use the either home-side entrance or the visitor entrance. These gates will be cash only tonight. CFSD employees may also use any gate for free entry with their staff ID.

🍔 Concession stand: The concession stand will be cash only tonight.

ℹ️ Clear Bag Policy: Only approved clear bags and clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted. Backpacks, purses, coolers, f***y packs, cinch bags, camera bags, computer bags and other oversized bags are prohibited. View the full Clear Bag Policy for details.

🚫 Food and Drinks: No outside food or drinks, including tumblers, are permitted.

🚫 Pets: Only registered service animals are allowed.

👥 Fan Conduct: Students in grades K–5 must be supervised by an adult at all times. All home and visiting students are expected to behave appropriately. Adults and students may be removed for fighting, disrespectful behavior or possession of prohibited items. Students must be picked up within 20 minutes after the event ends.

A big Cardinal thank-you to Cullendale Baptist Church for providing breakfast for Camden Fairview Cardinal Football this morning and helping our team start the day fueled and ready!

We also appreciate Jacovis Davis for sharing an inspirational message with our players and First Baptist Church of Camden for providing tonight’s pregame meal. The support of our churches and community means so much to our student-athletes and coaches! ❤️🤍

🧼✨ Food Safety and Nutrition students put proper handwashing practices to the test during a hands-on lab!

Students used Glo Germ lotion and a UV light to reveal the “germs” on their hands. They then compared regular handwashing with proper handwashing techniques to see how thoroughly they could clean their hands.

It was an eye-opening lesson in how good hygiene helps prevent the spread of germs and supports safe food preparation!

We’re “Surfing into the Season” on Friday, August 28! Students and staff, break out your best Hawaiian attire and get ready to show your Cardinal pride! ❤️🤍

Visitor Information:

🚗 Park in the Band Parking Lot and leave the main drive open for afternoon bus dismissal.

🚪 Enter through the CFHS Gym South Entrance.

ℹ️ Sit in the first section of the home-side bleachers.

⏰ Visitors may begin arriving at 2:30 PM.

✅ The clear bag policy will be in effect.

🚫 Please leave all nicotine/tobacco products and other prohibited items at home or in your vehicle.

Learning is hands-on at CFHS! 🎬📰🐾

Digital Media students are also putting their creativity and technical skills to work through Camden Fairview Cardinal TV! Throughout the year, students create weekly digital content, livestream varsity athletic events, and produce a video magazine highlighting the people, programs, and stories of Camden Fairview. From working behind the camera to managing live productions, Cardinal TV gives students authentic experience in broadcasting, storytelling, teamwork, and media production.

Animal Science II students explored an Arkansas FFA Veterinary Science Career Development Event CDE practicum, connecting classroom learning to real-world veterinary skills.

Cardinal Journalism students put their interviewing skills into practice during a mock press conference. After studying the history and purpose of journalism, students represented news outlets of their choice and asked members of the Cardinal football team the “hard-hitting” questions. CFSD Athletic Director Coach Chris Coker even stopped by to join the press conference before the first game of the season!

From veterinary science to media production and journalism, CFHS students are building practical skills through meaningful, purpose-driven learning.
