Happy Pride Month! 🌈

Public schools bring together students, families, and educators from many backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. They help teach the values that strengthen both our communities and our democracy: respect, belonging, understanding, and the freedom to be yourself.

At Support CCS, we believe public education is strongest when every student feels seen, valued, and supported. This month, we celebrate the diversity that makes our schools and communities better and reaffirm our commitment to public schools that welcome all learners.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Public schools play an important role in helping students understand the meaning of service, sacrifice, and citizenship. In our classrooms, students learn the importance of remembering and respecting those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy today. We also recognize the many graduates from public schools who go on to serve in our armed forces and communities with courage and dedication.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we take time to reflect, remember, and express gratitude for the fallen heroes whose sacrifices will never be forgotten.

From classrooms and performances to athletic fields, service projects, friendships, and milestones both big and small, your impact on our schools and community will last far beyond graduation day.

As you take this next step, know that you are prepared for whatever comes next — college, careers, military service, travel, entrepreneurship, or paths still waiting to be discovered. You leave our schools with the knowledge, resilience, and experiences to meet the future with confidence.

Congratulations to all of our seniors! We are proud of everything you’ve accomplished and excited to see where your next chapter leads. Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to make a difference.

After much consideration, Support CCS has decided to extend itsendorsement application timeline. There are many changes to the school board elections this year and we are doing our best to navigate them in real time. While we did receive applications, we think it's important to wait until after the districts school board information session to ensure we are not missing any worthwhile candidates.

As we continue to prepare for a busy election season, we are always grateful for any help you are able to provide - monetary or otherwise. Please keep sharing our message and do not hesitate to reach out with questions.
