"Creativity at the Library" Summer Reading Program starts June 22! Pick up your take and make bag anytime the library is open that week. This week you will receive a canvas for the Art Show as well as a mosaic project, reading log, bingo card and other activities as well as craft supplies and instructions - and of course, pick out a free book! Let's get reading and creating!!!! (an email was sent to all registrants with more information)

Hurray!! Story at the Landing at the Damascus Road Landing is open!! Thanks to Town of Carmel, Maine, especially Willie and Andy for replacing the missing posts and holders! Come read "This Moose Belongs to Me" by Oliver Jeffers. "A boy named Wilfred claims a moose as his pet, teaching it rules for being a good pet, only to discover the moose has a life of its own and another owner, leading to a humorous compromise involving apples." Come to the stream and enjoy a good read! Books will be changed monthly

Sadly, the opening of Story at the Landing at the Damascus Road Landing is delayed. Unfortunately, 3 posts and two post holders were stolen from the trail during the winter. These posts and holders are Town of Carmel, Maine property and were originally installed by the Town of Carmel . It is too bad someone decided that it was fun to ruin something kids enjoy. If you have any information about this, please call the library at (207)848-7145 or the Town of Carmel at (207)848-3361. We will let you know when things are rectified.

StoryWalk® at the Five Road Rec field is up and running! Our first book is "Stuck" by Oliver Jeffers.
