🚨 SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR WEDNESDAY 🚨

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Greene County and much of west-central Illinois under an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather on Wednesday.

🌩️ What to Expect:
• Damaging straight-line winds up to 60-70+ mph
• Large hail
• Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning
• A few tornadoes cannot be ruled out

⏰ Timing:
The greatest threat currently appears to be during the afternoon and evening hours, though exact timing will become clearer as we get closer.

📱 Now is the time to prepare:
✔ Ensure you have multiple ways to receive weather warnings
✔ Charge phones and electronic devices
✔ Review your severe weather safety plan
✔ Be prepared to seek shelter quickly if warnings are issued
