Democratic Socialist Winn Decker wants to force arbitrary and unreasonable "climate justice" rules on utility companies which will add an additional $15B to your utility bills.

Rep. Erin Paré opposes expensive and politically motivated climate schemes. She voted to pass the Power Bill Reduction Act which will save you approximately $15B on future utility bills.

Rep. Paré also secured over $70M in state funding for critical infrastructure in Southern Wake County, offsetting planned municipal rate increases and property tax increases.

Rep. Paré is saving you money.

Vote Paré for an affordable future.

For the second day in a row, I’ve received an email from my daughter’s school about HVAC problems affecting classrooms and trailers.

This is what deferred maintenance eventually looks like: students being moved to cooler rooms, water breaks, and parents being told they can pick their children up early because classrooms are uncomfortable.

Wake County has known about its growing maintenance backlog for years. Continuing to defer basic repairs doesn’t make the problem disappear — it makes it more expensive and disruptive later.

A School Board should prioritize the basics: safe classrooms, responsible stewardship, and fixing problems before they become crises.
