Ms. Yolanda Woods has become a true cheerleader and source of support for not only her students, but also the entire Vista Grande ESS staff. As a positive culture builder, she consistently fosters collaboration, encouragement, and a shared commitment to student success.
Yolanda's dedication to self-reflection and teamwork helps our staff grow and strengthen our practices. She works closely and effectively with her co-teacher, embracing a collaborative approach that benefits both students and colleagues. Her questions are always student-centered, and she firmly believes that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and pursue their dreams.
One of Yolanda's greatest strengths is her willingness to own what is within her area of control. She approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, takes responsibility for her work, and continually seeks ways to improve outcomes for students. Her strong classroom management and high expectations create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
