During the August 6, 2026, Council Meeting, the City Council canvassed the results of the July 21, 2026 Primary Election. The following candidates received a majority of the votes cast for their respective offices and have been declared elected:
Mayor
• Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons
City Council
• Anthony Edwards
• Matthew N. "Matt" Herman
• Billie Davis

Because all four seats were decided in the Primary Election, Casa Grande will not hold a General Election for Mayor or City Council this November. However, a ballot measure regarding the proposed Arizona Public Service (APS) franchise agreement will appear on the November ballot for Casa Grande voters. In-Person Public Comment
To provide public comment in person, attendees must complete a comment card available at City Hall before the Regular Council Meeting begins at 7 p.m. on August 3. The card may be used to request to speak during the designated public comment period. You may also use it to submit your opposition or support without speaking.

While individual comments may not be read aloud during the August 3 meeting, they may be summarized collectively and become part of the meeting minutes.
